PROCEDURES FOR ACQUIRING A NEW WATER TAP
- Complete a WATER USERS AGREEMENT form.
- Attach a copy of the DEED to the property where the water service connection is to be located
- Complete CUSTOMER INFORMATION SHEET.
- Complete a NON SEWAGE TAP AGREEMENT form.
- Make a one time $1250.00 payment to water district -OR- complete a PROMISSARY NOTE SECURITY AGREEMENT form, with $200.00 down, remainder at 10% interest and 24 monthly payments of $50.00 (plus the water bill) and one payment of $9.05.
- Fill out an ACH AGREEMENT if interested in automatic withdrawal for the water bills.
- Make a $50.00 refundable deposit on new account. We accept cash, check or money order made out to: RWD#2 or credit/debit card (there is a 3% fee to use a card whether in person or over the phone).
- The completed forms will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval at the next Board meeting, held on the second Monday of every month. Forms and fees must be submitted by the prior Wednesday in order to get on the Agenda.
- If main line extension or road bore is required in order to service property, additional fees will be required and additional procedures must be followed.
- Once approved for water tap, mark the exact desired location of water service connection with wood stake and flagging.
PROCEDURES FOR TRANSFERING WATER SERVICE
Home Owner
- Complete a CUSTOMER INFORMATION SHEET and a WATER USER AGREEMENT.
- Attach a copy of the Deed to property where the water service connection is to be located.
- Stop by the Water District to sign the Benefit Unit Transfer document .
- Any outstanding balance on account must be paid in full before water service is transferred.
- Make a $50.00 refundable deposit on new account.
- Make a $10.00 transfer fee/$20.00 reconnect fee, whichever is needed on said account.
- The completed forms will be submitted to the Board of Directors for approval at the next Board meeting, held on the second Monday of every month.
Renter
- Complete a CUSTOMER INFORMATION SHEET.
- Any outstanding balance on account must be paid in full before water service is transferred/turned on.
- Make a $150.00 refundable deposit on new account.
- Make a $10.00 transfer fee/$20.00 reconnect fee, whichever is needed on said account.
